The charter for the participants and guests the network serves and the communities around its hubs. Its binding duty lives in the General Terms (GT-2.8); the complaint route is the non-member limb of GT-7.5; the mechanics (feedback channel, complaint handling) live in Operational Procedures Section O.

Why this exists

The constellation governs contributors — members, stewards, mentors, partners, ventures, owners, elders. But a regenerative hub exists to serve: the guest on a retreat, the participant in a programme, the client of a project, and the wider community and land around the place. Until now these people appeared only as project codes in the Ledger and as the object of the access rule — with no stated rights, no voice, and no way to complain. This charter gives them standing. One can be a participant or guest without being a contributor; this is the network’s promise to those people, distinct from membership.

Part I — Participants and guests

Who this is for

Anyone the network receives without their needing to hold a role: programme participants, retreat and stay guests, clients of a Project, visitors, and people reached by a hub’s activities.

What we promise

  • Safety and dignity. Everyone is safeguarded from harm and treated with the Dignity Floor the network holds for all (GT-1.14; GT-2.6; the Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct). Dignity does not depend on contribution.
  • Honest, fair dealing. Truthful description of any programme or stay, clear pricing and terms before you commit, and fair cancellation and withdrawal rights as required by consumer law (Italian Codice del Consumo). No mis-selling; the price is what was stated.
  • Privacy. Your personal data is handled under GDPR and GT-5; clients appear in the Ledger only as project codes unless you consent to be named (GT-3.4A).
  • Fair reception. You are received under the network’s sliding-scale access rule in good faith (GT-3A.3) — priority and price follow contribution, never unfair discrimination. (The unconditional no-turn-away floor of GT-3A.8 is a benefit of membership; hubs nonetheless extend hospitality to participants and guests as capacity allows.)
  • A voice and a way to be heard. A feedback channel at each hub (Operational Procedures O.1), and a real complaint route: a concern or complaint may be raised through GT-7.5 (beginning with the host Steward and the Association); a safety concern is handled through safeguarding (GT-2.6, Section M). Your statutory rights as a consumer or data subject, and your access to the courts, are never limited by this charter.

What we ask in return

While you are here, honour the place: respect its Hub DNA covenant, the other people present, the relational standards (no harassment, discrimination, or non-consensual recording), and the care of the space. Being received here is not consumption without care — it is entering a relationship, lightly held.

Part II — The wider community

Every Hub is a community ark (GT-2.3): a node of resilience that operates alongside existing local institutions, not against them. Toward the community, watershed, and bioregion in which it sits, the network commits to:

  • No net harm to the place. A hub does not extract from its neighbours, its watershed, or its bioregion — consistent with the syntropic principle that no value is taken from any part (0.0 §1).
  • Openness and mutual aid. The hub builds parallel capacity for care and mutual aid with its locality, and is a good neighbour in practice, not only in words.
  • A community voice. Neighbours and local people may raise a concern through the same route as participants and guests (GT-7.5), and the community’s unmet needs can surface as Network Demand Signals (GT-1.12) — the basis on which the network responds through intrapreneurship (Agreement 7).
  • Accountability for its place. A hub’s effect on its community, watershed, and bioregion is part of the regenerative assessment (the Regenerative Impact Framework, dimensions B — Human Health and Well-Being, and E — Community and Relational Culture), which feeds the regenerative balance of GT-2.7.

Binding duty: GT-2.8. Complaint route: GT-7.5. Safeguarding: GT-2.6 and the Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct. Mechanics: Operational Procedures Section O. Feedback feeds Regenerative Impact Framework (dimensions B, E) and the Network Demand Register.
